Hello everybody, how are you? I decided to prepare one more post about my bachelor work for you during weekend. I want to tell a bit more about what I exactly did. I would like to talk about two thing. At the beginning I would like to show you a bit more from our photo shooting. With Lenka we decided to prepare a video from backstage. Even though I was totally exhausted I enjoyed it ( it’s always such a good feeling haha). Actually I think it was pretty fun coz we had a big team. As a first I want to thank to photographer Nikola Nováková (maybe you remember her from the blog we had together: Icona magasin). This was our second photo shooting and I really like the way how we work together, coz Niki is really making photos the way I like.
At my last post I mentioned the new cap.on collection (soon available in our new e-shop) but I also kinda cooperated with my friend Martin Brindza. Our cooperation was pretty spontaneous, but I really like the brooches and the ring. They go well with the collection. Make-up was made by my mom, hair by Janka Girgošková. I also have to mention my amazing models, Kája Kúthová, Kačka Marešová and Anastasia Vrublevská. And of course my amazing camerawomen and editor Lenka. Thank you all!!!
Now the second part of my article. I would like to tell you more about the topic and inspirations. I chose Clothes and constructions as a theme of my bachelor work. I was inspired by equestrian constructions and apparel. Due to my topic I wanted to work with historical patterns. Transform them, combine them with different clothes and find untypical fabrics for these types of clothes. I had to decide which patterns I want to use. I found four cloths, they are from different periods, places and also made for different sex. I chose Redingote, frock, safety skirt and jodhpurs. I chose mostly really light and natural colours as different shades brown or grey. I also tried to make leather jackets, it was first time when I was working with this type of leather. I can divide my collection into two parts, first part is more serious and nobel, second part is more casual and sporty. I was working with culotte combined with safety skirt at this part.
